Harvest Time Festival

Join us at Skerries Mills for a Harvest Celebration this August 23rd, 11 am- 5.30 pm.

Harvest Time is a time of Joy, Sharing, Community, and Connection with the land. Skerries Mills Industrial Heritage Museum, invites you to its heritage lands, for an open day, at the time of harvesting the crops on-site. There will be music, demonstrations, harvest knot-making, as well as crafts for children.

Please use active travel (Car parking strictly for vendors only. No public parking)

Skerries Mills is a collection of three unique mills in a coastal location like no other.

This is an outdoor event, while tents are in use, the event is not in the Heritage Building.

There will be a nominal cash fee for face painting on the day.

Car park closed to attendees as reserved for crew and cast. Please do not drive to this event, to sustain the event, we ask you use active travel.

Guided tours of the site are limited on the day, but otherwise available year round.

The harvesting of crops by local farmers may be impacted or delayed by weather on the day.

Music commences at 11.15am with Skerries Ukuleke Strummers.

Our Harvest Festival takes place during National Heritage Week, 2025, and is the perfect place to engage in this years Heritage Week  theme, landscapes and cultural activities.

 

 

Festival Entry will be from Mill Hill Park, between the two Windmills. Carpark available to vendors only.
